There are several different forms of dementia and it affects people in different ways. That is why it is so important that each customer receives good professional service plus respect and kindness.
Many people with dementia are looked after on a day to day basis by a spouse or other family member. But caring relatives need a break from time to time and this is where our ‘sitting service’ can help. On an arranged day each week we will come and take over the role – allowing the family member time to themselves. Some of our customers may require live-in care, which is also available.
Care visits are usually 30 minutes to an hour long. However, there is no upper time limit for our care visits. Indeed, many of our customers who have some form of dementia enjoy the support of one of our live-in carers to provide an additional level of reassurance.
